Good question, Katia. We bought our fitted bike covers from our dealer, Emmo, last year, and now they are are so porous, they are hardly worth using.

Since we park our bikes beside our 8 ft high garden wall, we are thinking we might just hang a rolled up, blue construction tarp above the bikes and roll it down to cover the machines on wet days.

btw - who, in Toronto, does carry good, durable e-bike/e-scooter covers?

undercover cheers

Ya might consider taking a cover for a sailmaker to copy. Use Sunbrella cloth and ya can re-waterproof from time to time and it's washable. Unfortunately this is about the worst time of the year to engage a sailmaker but keep `em in mind for fall... Hurricane Canvas are good people:

I saw one listed in Mobility Unlimited page link above.

I also noticed some motorcycle covers in Walmart, but am not sure of the size. A scooter cover for a small scooter style motorcycle should fit the bill if you can find one of those.

Unless ya WANT to buy 5000 units at that great price...lol

Here's what I got, when looking for a great cover...for less!

CT sells a WP tarp for camping...(its NOT a tarpaulin, as they are only water RESISTANT)

this is for a tent groundcover, and is WATERPROOF

This cover is 100% waterproof, comes lined, and is 5' x 7' and fits my bike great....keeps it 100% dry, for much less that the cruddy ebike covers sold for much more

Sells for 15 beans!

:)

Cheers

I often wondered if house wrap would work as a cover material. It is supposed to be waterproof but "breathes". Probably cheap, but hard to find in small amounts. Maybe add some weights or velcro to keep it from blowing away.
