Dear Lock,

The line you quote appears to be from a report from the Chief of Police to the Board, dated June 23, 2011, entitled, 'Harmonization and Enforcement of Sidewalk Cycling By-Laws in the City of Toronto," that addresses three Motions adopted by City Council for the attention of the Board.

The recommendations referred to in that report were made at meetings that took place in 2009 between officials of the City of Toronto Services Transportation Services and members of the Toronto Police Service. Those meetings were facilitated by the City and any record of minutes from those meetings would be retained by the City. It appears, from the same report, that recommendations arising from those meetings were "implemented" on April 18, 2011.

I suggest that you contact Daniel Egan, Manager of Cycling Infrastructure and Programs - City of Toronto Transportation Services, for further information about specific recommendations that may have been implemented as a result of those meetings.

I am looking for a copy "Recommendations ... made to update and adjust fines for cars parked in bike lanes, power assist bicycles and electric scooter use in City bike lanes", mentioned in the minutes of the July 21, 2011 Board meeting.

Please see following emails. Mr.Mukherjee was kind enough to forward my request to the Office of the Chief of Police but this was now a month ago with no reponse.

Can you assist please?
