Jeeze, Denis, since you've watched (i gave up after a few minutes and started skipping through) this long, slow lecture, please, could you distill and explain the part that relates to the topic of this thread? All I got was that we belong to ourselves, not to the government, etc. - but how does this help the pedal-less hotdog man?

It's convoluted, but I'll give it a go. IF you are born in this country, you have certain inherent rights. A registration of live birth occurs, which separates rights, and creates a trustee relationship. The Government then sends you another document - the birth certificate, which creates another, and inverse, trustee relationship. The claim is that you do not have to be acting under the birth certificate relationship, and can declare yourself a "freeman" under common law. Under this, you are acting under the ORIGINAL relationship created by the registration of live birth, and your inherent rights. Under common law, this includes a right to travel. Driving is but one of the methods of travel, of course, and this inherent right cannot be removed. Unless, you are acting as an agent of the state, and the statutes then apply. If compelled to action by an employee of the state, you have the right to bill for your time. You must, of course, have the information as to rates available to the agents of the state. This flows from the theory that statutes can only be applied to agents of the state, and cannot impede on inherent rights. An interesting theory -- may indeed be true. But... the Waco folks are still dead! And, our Hotdog Vendor is an immigrant. As a result, he has no birthright; and falls under Federal jurisdiction. If he is a naturalized Canadian, the argument may hold. In other words; it's a stretch. Complying with the officer would have to be: "Yes, and under duress, sir." Having evidence that this was done would help (and wasn't) -- given that it is unlikely that would be recorded by the officer. All in all, I want the time back that I wasted on this video. FredW |

If you find it to long to follow ,you will have to cut it up into sections and go trough a bit every day .
Here is another much shorter version but USA under consumer goods http://www.youtube.co... There are other ways of winning a court case . (Syntax ) http://www.davidwynnm... the most powerful and is another one , but if you think that video was long ,this one was done in about 15 segments and talks about how the English language has been deliberately modified and bastadized to enslave us . The important thing here is that they all want your money and the police are the tax collectors . Here is another short clip . http://www.youtube.co... There are several examples but you must always be prepared to go to jail , then fight the fight . Enjoy!!! Denis |

Should move this to the lounge... First, follow the link from www.davidwynnmiller.com/links to http://en.wikipedia.o... Miller has it in his links section, so fair game. Now, it appears (although is wikipedia) that Miller isn't very successful at convincing the court... No success stories there, and none on his homepage. I still don't know what QUANTUM-LANGUAGE-PARSE-SYNTAX-GRAMMAR is. Quantum is, I imagine, a discrete amount of language (though you could make a case for energy units of communication, Miller does state he goes back 8,500 years in his analysis, and that would put him at the head of language history study. Anatolian was reconstructed in the 1960's, and that only goes back 19 centuries. Before 2500BC, we have proto-indo-european languages, and I assume that is what Miller is interested in -- given he lectures in QUANTUM-LANGUAGE-PARSE-SYNTAX-GRAMMAR :English:). These are put together via Syntax, and the entire syntax, along with morphology, semantics, and phonology makes a Grammar. Parse is either an interpretation of an utterance, or sentence, or the process used to derive such, given the sentence (utterance) and the Grammar. I still don't understand why the word "Quantum" is used -- in my humble opinion, David Wynn Miller is a fruitcake. With an IQ of 200? Sure, why not (the ideas may be too... complex... for my little mind to understand). "he has 6 times the amount of endorphins you and I have". Sure, I'll go with that, an endorphin is a peptide that activates opiate receptors; that explains why the web-site reads as if the author were stoned. "comparatively there is only correctness in anything Quantum; be it Physics or Mathematics as it is accurate." We don't know that! Mathematics, sure, by definition, but Physics? And this really doesn't help the guy with his pedals problem, anyway. To keep this short, this is my last message on this sub-topic. If you want to debate this, or the "freeman" idea, we can take it over to the lounge. FredW |

HAPPY ENDING FOR HOTDOG VENDOR
![]() Visited with himself today. Seems cops like hotdogs, too. Someone's supervisor has assured our friend that a certain over zealous young constable will not be in court to support the charges. Our friend said he will appear and pay exactly nothing. Not an elegant legal resolution, but a very satisfactory real world outcome. (There are more details, but our friend does not want too much attention focused on this somewhat delicate arrangement. I offered to take a pic of him, his bike and hotdog stand, but he thought that would be asking for trouble.) Our man at the hotdog stand is grateful for our concern, and hopes his situation has been useful to our members. He will never ride pedal-less again, he assured me. Indeed possibly a good outcome. However we still have the problem of the unwary or misinformed, or the careless, that may be entrapped in the future. We should lobby (or TERA should) out MPP's to clarify mechanical deficiencies like missing pedals to be like any other mechanical deficiencies, like no brakes, no lights, speed modification and power modification, and have them $85 fines or some such appropriate amount.
Having the pedals removed and being exposed to a possible $50,000 plus costs fines plus suspension of your drivers license for one year is beyond exessive to the offense. It is time to stop this war on the ebike and normalize the fines for infractions. This can only be done by political lobbying. |
