Great bike! (if a bit ugly). I wonder why it's going to small business and corporate folks first. Also wonder if it will ever make it over to here.

Please note that EV-neo is an LSM (Limited Speed Motorcycle) which is part of the reason that they are targeting small businesses. For businesses the economics make sense because of the low operating cost (no gas or oil, low service cost, and no carbon emissions). In the regular consumer market Electric Motorcycles/scooters still can not compete with the gas powered bikes in purchase price and range.

If you are interested an electric "Limited Speed Motorcycle" scooter the EVT168 and EVT4000 bikes are available in Canada. I know this because I have an EVT168 with the Lithium pack.

Awesome!!! Thanks for the info. I believe I've driven one of the EVT bikes (I think it was a 4000) up in the Barrie/Collingwood area and my memory of it is they are nice "peppy" bikes. Still not enough to trade the vespa LX 150 in for...yet.

I also have an Austin and my housemate has a mini EV (in pink). We enjoy them.

I like their bikes, didn't even know these were on the market here. What's your insurance like?

Insurance for the EVT168 is the same as it would be for any 50cc Motorcycle/Moped/Scooter. In my case I have car and home insurance as well so my rate would be lower. Your insurance would be based on your driving record and driving experience, I am afraid you would have to contact some insurance companies to compare rates.
