I used to love going to see these guys over by Victoria Park just south of the Danforth, Crosstown Battery:
www.crosstownbattery.com These guys *only* deal with batteries including lots of huge truck and forklift batts and it was fun to wander `round back to their shop where the guys are all walking around with clothes burned through in patches from the battery acid. Huge battery testing equipment and chargers... Might be places cheaper but I can't imagine more fun loCk |

Good news! I got the new battery! Works great!! I actually rode from downtown Guelph to Fergus with it and had no problems whatsoever! It took a while however, about an hour but I was so amazed that it went that far.

Patrick this is NOT how you break in an new battery SIR... Ya should be cycling gentle less than 50% discharges for the first ten cycles or so. I know it's thrilling to have fresh lead after nursing a dying pack, but ya have to chill a bit!

Also, are you using that same charger? If it is suspect ya might want to plug it into a timer to guarantee it'll shut off after a time...
