Hit a Nerve at Motorino

Just got off the phone with the Head of Motorino in Vancouver who was having a hissy fit that I contacted all his Ontario Dealers about how they misrepresented their E-Scooters on their websites.

I think I won the arguement and Motorino will change the specs in their website so it conforms to the MOT Regs in Ontario.

The problem is Motorino Dealers state on their websites that the Wheels are 10 inches in Diameter (254mm) but the MOT Regs say 254mm is Illegal and the Minimum is 350mm Diameter.

So I emailed all the Motorino Dealers in Ontario pointing this out and they contacted the Distributor and well it got ugly from there.

Seemed like such a simple thing for Motorino to correct so I don't see how they can be so weird about it. Yes their Wheel is 350mm but they say it is only 254mm and why they would write 254mm (10 inches) is beyond me.

Oh Well, hope they correct their mistake.

Yeah the head of Motorino is an asshole, he hates taking to people.

I ride a motorino and wouldn't ride anything else just cus of the quality of the motor and controller but I won't deal with the head. Some time ago I was looking into selling their bikes in Toronto but said fuck it after dealing with the head of their company. I'm more than happy dealing with Amber in Guelph, she runs a very nice shop out there.

Lock about the reflectors on the front, what about them? They illegal?

If ya follow the link above and the letter of the law...
"...and in addition white reflective material shall be placed on its front forks, and red reflective material covering a surface of not less than 250 millimetres in length and 25 millimetres in width shall be place on its rear."
