Following received today as I am on the mailing list for the Durham e-Bike Association. Looks like they are working on getting some (hopefully good!) publicity for e-Bikes via a Rogers cable program.
-------------------------------------- All, I would like to invite you all to a special E-Bike meet to be held on Friday July 9, at 11 AM. The exact location is to be determined (see my notes below) but it will be near to the Regional Offices at Rossland and Garden in Whitby. The reason for meeting is to provide interviews and other footage for a video article on e-bikes and e-bike riders in Durham being produced for Rogers cable for a program called "My Community is Durham". I am hoping that we can put on a good show with lots of riders. Even if you don't want to be interviewed you can just be part of the crowd. For a location I am looking for a parking lot does not have many cars in it during the day. I have set the location near the Regional Offices because I know that there are a number of riders who work there who might be able to get away for a short time without having to take the day off. With this in mind, can anyone near this location suggest something? The Shoppers Drug Mart parking lot to the north might work. Alternately, if within range, we could go to the new Second Cup at Taunton and Garden. Please reply to me if you plan to attend (or not) and if you have ideas for locations. Thanks. Looking forward to hearing from everyone. -------------------------------------- |
