Anyone know anywhere in the GTA where they pay for old lead acid batteries. See the note below from the Vancouver e-Bike group. I have 4 in my garage and if I could get $7.00 for them, I could treat myself to a latte and croissant. Note that Edmonds Batteries is in the Vancouver area.

This is just a FYI for anyone with old lead acid batteries that they are looking to recycle:

Edmonds Batteries paid me $0.15 / lb. (which came out to $7.80 for old scooter battery [4 * 12V20AH]). The $/lb that they pay varies, so I don't know if they are paying more or less then that now (I was there in June sometime).

Hopefully this is useful information to some of you.

Have a good summer, it has been great riding weather for the last month or two.

Regards
